About

Labinot’s shop, up at St Luke’s Cross

St Luke’s Barber Shop is the local gents on Gardiner’s Hill — just up from the Cross, handy if you’re in Montenotte, Mayfield or walking up from town.

Labinot and the team do gents and kids. They’re known for putting nervous little ones at ease, and for a clean shop that doesn’t rush you out the door. Hussain is a regular favourite if you don’t mind waiting for him.

They don’t take bookings anymore — walk-ins only. There’s a small waiting area. Ring if you want to check how busy they are.

What the locals say

I’ve been looking for great barbers for quite a long time and finally found them. This place has the most skilled barbers I’ve met in Cork. Can’t recommend them enough. Even if you’re far away, it will be worth your time and money.

Quite honestly the best Barber experience I’ve ever had. They went above and beyond to make my hair and beard look fantastic! I will be waiting to have my haircut from now on to come back.
